Groundhog Rescued From Claw Machine At PA Arcade
Employees at Meadows Family Fun Mini Golf in Duncansville contacted authorities after they found the "unusual prize" in the machine.

BLAIR COUNTY, PA — A groundhog was rescued after somehow getting stuck inside a claw machine game at a Blair County arcade this week.
In a post shared on Facebook, officials with the Pennsylvania Game Commission's Southcentral Region said the agency received a call for help from employees at Meadows Family Fun Mini Golf in Duncansville after they found an "unusual prize" in one of their game machines.
Officials said State Game Warden Salvadore Zaffuto responded to the business and found that a groundhog had found its way inside the claw machine and couldn't find a way out.

"When Warden Zaffuto responded and approached the machine, he saw a wave of stuffed animals move as the groundhog scurried around underneath," officials said, "then it popped its head out to assess the situation."
The vending machine company was contacted to unlock the game. Zaffuto safely captured the groundhog and released it unharmed, officials said.
