Honesty Of PA Online Daters Among Lowest In U.S., Survey Says

Pennsylvania residents are more like to lie about their relationship status, age, and appearance while online dating, the survey revealed.

PENNSYLVANIA — When it comes to online dating in Pennsylvania, potential matches on popular dating apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are more likely to be lying to you than in most other U.S. states.

A new report by DatingAdvice.com surveyed 3,000 single daters across America and asked them to rate their online dating experiences on a scale of 1 to 10 by how honest the people they matched with were about their ages, jobs or appearance.

The goal was to "capture the perceived integrity of profiles on dating apps and provide a clearer picture of how users represent themselves in the digital dating landscape," according to the survey.
