'A Horrific Loss': Family, Friends Remember Slain PA Mom, Daughter
Loved ones are raising money to aid the families of 5-year-old Rylee Reynolds and 34-year-old Christine Fousek, who died earlier this week.
HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, PA — Loved ones are remembering Christine Fousek as the "true definition of a best friend" and her 5-year-old daughter Rylee Reynolds as "the sweetest little girl" less than a week after police said a Maryland man stabbed both of them to death in their southern Pennsylvania home.
Pennsylvania State Police confirmed Fousek, 34, and Reynolds, both of Stewartsown, were killed Monday night at a home on Firebox Court in Hopewell Township.
Jacqueline Fousek, 63, and Joseph Fousek, 28, also of Stewartsown, were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries, according to authorities.

Keith Kretzer, 31, of Edgewood, Maryland, was taken into custody by authorities at the scene, state police confirmed. Kretzer is charged with two counts of criminal homicide and two counts of attempted criminal homicide, police said.
Family and friends this week launched two GoFundMe pages to help Fousek and Rylee's families cover funeral arrangements and other final expenses.

"This is such a horrific loss for the family and friends they had," Alicia Roman-McCutcheon, Fousek's best friend, wrote on one GoFundMe page titled "Remembering Christine & Rylee."
"Christy was truly such an amazing woman and the true definition of a best friend," Roman-McCutcheon wrote. "As far as Rylee Ann, she was the cutest, sweetest little girl you could ever meet."
In an update shared to GoFundMe, Roman-McCutcheon said Joseph Fousek, Christine Fousek's brother, is no longer in intensive care but still has "a long road of recovery ahead of him." Jacqueline Fousek, Christine Fousek's mother, is still in the ICU and has more surgeries ahead of her, Roman-McCutcheon said.
Taylor DeVoe, a family member of Rylee, also organized a fundraiser to benefit the little girl's father.
"Rylee entered through heaven's gates in the arms of her mother," DeVoe wrote. "We all need to be there for Kenny and send prayers for his well-being as he mourns his daughter and her mother."
