2. Game officials caught a young black bear who has been foraging through Bucks County backyards, and relocated it to state game lands. Wardens tranquilized the bear as it was enjoying a meal below a backyard bird feeder. (Read more on Patch.)

4. After Sunday's fiery crash and collapse of Interstate 95, Gov. Josh Shapiro officially declared a disaster emergency for Philadelphia County. The governor said his declaration will hasten the repairs on one of the most important corridors in the region. (Read more on Patch.)

5. Meanwhile, commuters and residents in the Philadelphia metro have to brace for an untold number of weeks with I-95 shut down in both directions near the crash. A tractor-trailer hauling 8,500 gallons of gasoline crashed on the Route 73/Cottman Avenue ramp at around 6:20 a.m. Sunday. (Read more on Patch.)
