5 Killed In PA Car Crash

WHARTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Five people, including an infant boy, are dead following a crash on Route 40 in Pennsylvania Tuesday afternoon, according to the Fayette County coroner.

The victims, all of whom were in the same car, have been identified as Harold Nibert, 55, Bradley Thivener, 47, Krystal May, 36, Amanda Dawson, 33, and her son Kullen Dawson, 7 months, all from Delaware, Ohio, officials said.

Nibert was driving a Honda Accord eastbound when his car crossed the double yellow line collided head-on with a tractor trailer, according to officials.

Three people in the other vehicle, including the truck driver, sustained minor injuries, 10 WBNS reported.

No additional information was immediately available from the coroner.
