HELLERTOWN, PA — Customers at a Giant Food store in the Lehigh Valley were treated to a bizarre and comical sight this week when Marty — the helpful robot often seen strolling down the aisles at Pennsylvania Giant stores — left work early and made a googley-eyed run for it.
Not familiar with Marty? According to PennLive.com, the robots — who are equipped with multiple cameras and scanners — patrol aisles looking for out-of-stock items and performing other small tasks.
It sounds simple enough; however, a Marty at the Hellerton store apparently wanted everyone to know he had enough of its job.
