WILLIAMSPORT, PA — The boys from Delco are at it again, as they take on Fargo, North Dakota in the next stage of the Little League World Series Wednesday night out in Williamsport.

Media Little League cemented their berth in Wednesday's game in epic, gritty fashion last week, winning on a walk-off home run in extra innings. That homer was the team's first hit of the game.

Wednesday night's matchup effectively serves as a quarterfinal to the U.S. championship. If Media wins Wednesday, they'll have to win three more to become national champions and four more to become world champions.

The game, which is against West University in Texas of the Southwestern region, will take place at 7 p.m. It will be broadcast on ESPN.

Media's rise in the tournament comes just as their hometown Phillies are surging into the lead of the National League Wild Card race. Media's storybook clinching win last Friday earned them a congratulations on the big screen at Citizens Bank Park Friday night, and shout outs and votes of confidence from Gov. Josh Shapiro and other leaders and athletes across the state.
