Police had been called to the home for a domestic incident as recently as Sept. 8, WFMZ reports. A man was reportedly threatening Rianna with a knife.

As a stunned community mourns, a GoFundMe campaign for the mother and daughter has raised more than $18,000 in just a few hours.

"We are all devastated by the loss of Rianna and Rose and were not prepared for the high cost of not one, but two funeral services," Rianna's uncle, Nicholas Glass, wrote. "We want to give them both the memorial they deserve, to honor their memory and to say our final goodbyes. We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of their funeral services."

Funeral services are set for Sept. 23 at Reichel Funeral Home in Northampton.

An investigation led by state police remains ongoing.
