LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — A Pennsylvania doctor has been accused of trying to pull down a patient's underwear and touching her inappropriately during a treatment for Lyme Disease, said state police.
The Lancaster County doctor has been charged with two counts of indecent assault, after state police said he inappropriately touched the female patient during a visit at his Bart Township office.
Police said the victim fell asleep during a Sept. 30 visit and awoke to find Vladimir Iakomi, 64, “aggressively rubbing and squeezing the victim’s lower back and buttock area," a report from PennLive said. The woman said she had visited his office earlier that week for Lyme Disease and an autoimmune disorder, and he prescribed her IV "vitamin boosters," the report said.
