PA Man Accused Of Killing Neighbor In 'Scream' Mask: Reports

LEHIGHTON, PA — A Pennsylvania man is in custody after being accused of killing his neighbor while dressed up as a character from the movie "Scream" last week, according to multiple reports that cite a criminal complaint.
The complaint states that Zak Moyer, 30, used a knife and chainsaw to fatally attack Edward Whitehead Jr., 59, on Carbon Street in Lehighton, NBC News reported.
Moyer admitted that the attack was planned and that he returned home to watch a movie before police arrived, the complaint said.

He told police that he believed Whitehead was a killer, according to ABC16. Whitehead's nieces told the outlet that the claims are not true and that Whitehead "was a rock to a lot of people."
"I think it's safe to say that we want absolute justice for our uncle," the nieces, Jennifer Whitehead and Megan Bernosky, added. "He deserves that."
