2 Big Winners In PA As Powerball Jackpot Grows To $1.4B: See Where
Once again, the jackpot went unclaimed. But two Keystone State players did win some lesser prizes in Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
PENNSYLVANIA — What is now the third-largest Powerball jackpot in history is up for grabs on Saturday, as no one scored the $1.2 billion jackpot Wednesday and the prize rolls up to $1.4 billion. However, two players in Pennsylvania matched all five white balls drawn to win lesser prizes of $2 million and $1 million, said lottery officials.
The winning numbers for Wednesday, Oct. 4 were: 09, 35, 54, 63, and 64, with the red Power Ball number of 01. The Power Play was 2X, possibly multiplying the prize.
Both Pennsylvania winners won the $1 million, and one of them purchased Power Play, which doubled their prize to $2 million.

The Pennsylvania Lottery said the $2 million winner was sold in Luzerne County, and the $1 million prize was sold in Philadelphia. Two other players in York and Allegheny counties won prizes worth $100,000 each, the state lottery added as it congratulated the four players on their combined $3.2 million in winnings (before taxes and withholding).
Retailers who sold the big winners will each get a bonus, the state lottery said.
