Arizona has had multiple days of excessive heat during which temperatures exceeded 110 degrees.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heat exhaustion symptoms include:

  • Heavy sweating
  • Cold, pale and clammy skin
  • Fast, weak pulse
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Muscle cramps
  • Tiredness or weakness
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Fainting

If you experience these symptoms, officials said it is important to move to a cool place. Drinking water, taking a cool bath, or placing cool, wet cloths on your body also helps treat heat exhaustion, according to the CDC.
