Remembering The 30 PA Residents Who Died On 9/11
PA residents who died on 9/11 will be among those memorialized at services across the country on the 22nd anniversary of the attacks.
PENNSYLVANIA — It has been 22 years since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 shook the nation to its core. For the families and loved ones of the 30 Pennsylvania residents who lost their lives that day, it marks another year of memory and remembrance.
Memorial services are planned across the state Monday, a solemn time to reflect on a day that tore at the hearts of many in Pennsylvania. And as a nation, Americans are looking back on the horror and legacy of 9/11, gathering at memorials, firehouses, city halls and elsewhere to observe the anniversary of the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil.
Thirty Pennsylvania residents lost their lives on that day: at Ground Zero in New York City, at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and at the site of the Flight 93 crash in Somerset County. Our state remembers and mourns:
