PENNSYLVANIA — Newly-released U.S. Census data shows which Pennsylvania counties have the highest median household income.

The Census’s 2022 American Community Survey data shows county-level statistics including median income.

Pennsylvania's median income was $71,798 for 2022, the most recently available year. That's up from $70,789 in 2020, but down from $72,627 in 2021.

Here are the top 10 income-earning counties in Pennsylvania as of 2022:

2. Montgomery Co: $106,811
3. Bucks Co: $105,398
4. Delaware Co: $83,960
5. Lancaster Co: $82,691
6. Monroe Co: $81,580
7. Butler Co: $81,353
8. Cumberland Co: $80,926
9. York Co: $80,130
10. Adams Co: $76,727
