PENNSYLVANIA — Eighteen Pennsylvania hospitals and medical centers were given 5-star ratings, the best possible, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid said.
They are among 483 hospitals nationwide to receive the coveted CMS 5-star rating based on their performance across five categories measuring quality of care.
The agency’s Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings for 2023 include 54 more 5-star hospitals than last year.
