Charlotte authorities found the account holder at her home.

There, the account holder's brother, "Van," was upset police were at the home.

The DA's office said "Van" is a name used by Ceu Uk, and "Van" is the only person who uses the cellphone with the number that left the voicemail, a family member told authorities.

Uk denied leaving the message, but eventually confessed to do doing so, the DA's office said.

He claimed the After School Satan Club was trying to turn kids into devils, and he found out about it on Facebook.

The After School Satan club is an arm of the Satanic Temple — a 501(c)3 non-profit religious organization in the United States — and focuses on science and art activities that are in line with the temple's views, but does not outright teach Satanism.

After School Satan clubs mostly operate in school districts that also have the Christian-based Good News Club.

Uk told authorities he "didn't mean it," but later threatened to beat police if they came to his home again, the DA's office said.

He was taken into custody and held on $75,000 bail.

Uk is awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

"Given the nature of this alleged crime and the effect it has on our school communities, I would like to thank the Lower Saucon Township police department, and Detective Eric Marth, for their immediate and all-in response in bringing this investigation to a swift conclusion," Houck said. "Their efforts display the seriousness in which they took this complaint. Thank you also to the Charlotte Mecklenburg police department for their assistance in this matter."

According to WFMZ, the club's approval was rescinded several days after the threats.
