Updated Timing, Rainfall Totals For Eastern PA Storm
Forecasters say the multi-day storm could be stronger than initially expected.

EASTERN PA — Up to two and a half inches of rain could fall during a strengthening midweek storm in eastern Pennsylvania, according to the latest revised estimates from forecasters.
Drizzle is likely to begin before noon on Wednesday, with heavier rain starting in the early afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Rain will continue through Wednesday night, with up to half an inch expected during the day and as much as two inches overnight.
Light showers will continue Thursday and will taper off by Thursday night.

"Some minor flooding of creeks and streams may result given the saturated ground," the National Weather Service said in a Hazardous Weather Outlook.

"Heavy rain will pour down, leading to urban and small stream flooding as well as travel delays," Accuweather added.

Temperatures will remain warm through the end of the week, with highs in the low to mid 50s expected every day.

A chance of showers, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. West wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
