The Lorax’s TREEmendous Day – Free Arbor Day Celebration in Aldan

Come celebrate Arbor Day with your neighbors! The Aldan Tree Tenders and Aldan Boosters are hosting a free, all-ages outdoor event featuring free tree and shrub seedlings (while supplies last), native plants for sale, a self-guided Lorax storybook walk, kids’ crafts, story-times with the Lansdowne Library, a veggie planting demo with Penn State Master Gardeners, and a live tree-planting demonstration.
Experts from the Delaware County Office of Sustainability, Darby Creek Valley Association, and Transition Town Greater Media’s biodiversity initiatives will also be on hand.
No registration required. Just show up, dig in, and take a little piece of nature home with you.
