2-Alarm Fire Breaks Out In Blue Bell; Firefighter Injured
Breaking: A two-alarm fire broke out amid the snowfall late Friday afternoon, leading to road closures and injuring one firefighter.

WHITPAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A two-alarm fire broke out at a Blue Bell home amid the snowfall late Friday afternoon.
The fire began at a building near the intersection of Morris Road and Plymouth Road at around 3:13 p.m., authorities said.
The home was evacuated and crews from several surrounding municipalities responded to the scene, including crews from Worcester, Wissahickon, Norriton, Ft. Washington, Centre Square, Plymouth, Harmonville, and more.

One firefighter was injured battling the blaze. All residents escaped safely, the Whitpain Township Police Department said.
The injuries to the firefighter are believed to be minor.

Plymouth Road was shut down between Morris Road and Boehms Church Road as crews responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Whitpain Township Fire Marshall.
