3rd Annual John Shapiro's Superheroes 5K and 1-mile Run/Walk - Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Saint Helena's School in Blue Bell, PA

In August 2011 our local community lost one of our own, 6 year old John Shapiro. For 4 years, John bravely fought an aggressive brain tumor while living each day to the fullest. John was helpful and kind-hearted to everyone he met. His courage while battling cancer and zest for life set an example for all of us.

Please support & participate in the 3rd Annual John Shapiro’s Superheroes 5K in memory of John. The race will take place Saturday, June 6, 2015 beginning at Saint Helena’s School, 1499 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA. On-site registration opens at 7:30am.

9:00am - 5K Run

10:00am - Fun Run (children ages 6 and under)

The race is a tribute to the memory of John Shapiro. He was a Superhero who touched the lives of so many with his engaging and heartwarming approach to life.

All proceeds from the event will go to the John Shapiro Superheroes Foundation and will benefit local families with children battling cancer.
