Treatment by Jason Winner - Acupuncture is a multi-millennial year old traditional form of medicine. The origins of Acupuncture are unknown. However, it has flourished throughout china and most of Asia for over 3 thousand years. Acupuncture has been used as a complete form of medicine that predates written history in China. Today, it is used as integrated complement to modern western medicine. Both here in the west and as well as in the east, acupuncture is method of treating the person. Not the “disease.” Used correctly acupuncture can be used to help improve any health concern. The process involves inserting hair thin sterile needles into very specific locations on the body. Once the needle is in the correct position it is left in place for a measure of time and then removed. The process is intended to remind the body how and where to heal. In some people results are instant. In others it may take a few days. The process of acupuncture is a means of returning the bodies Qi (energy) and blood to its proper dynamic balance.
