Ambler's Forest and Main has been included on a food critic's list of the best spots in the Philadelphia suburbs.

AMBLER, PA — An Ambler brewery has been included on a food and drink critic's list of the best beer spots in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Philly.com's Craig LaBan produced the list of spots around the region, including Forest and Main in Ambler.

While the review praised the beer and the atmosphere, the food and service got less than stellar marks. Here's what the review had to say:

"This rambling old house just off Ambler's main strip is the source for some of the region's most lyrical barrel-aged saisons, including some made with wild yeast harvested from cherry blossoms in the front yard, as well as outstanding bitters and IPAs. F&M seems to have lost much interest in being a dining destination, though, with a pub menu that is increasingly limited, inconsistently executed, and served by a young staff that simply didn't seem to care that our meal was off."

Forest and Main is located on 61 N. Main Street in Ambler.
