WHITPAIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A black bear was spotted in Whitpain Township on Thursday afternoon, officials said.

The bear was spotted wandering near the area of Skippack Pike and Belfry Drive.

A spokesperson for the township said that Whitpain police are "currently tracking it."

The PA Game Warden is also en route to the area.
