These recommendations are based on the candidate forums, evaluation of candidate qualifications, and, for incumbents Park and Stanton, their records as school board members. The candidates above will continue both the high academic achievement of our schools and fiscal responsibility owed to the tax payers.

Under the leadership of Park and Stanton, the Wissahickon School Board has done a great job in running the school district. With regards to academic achievement, WSD is ranked number 24 in Pennsylvania. Unlike other school districts in the area, school taxes have not increased in several years. WSD has a AAA bond rating and a large rainy day fund. WSD is the envy of school districts across the state – Park and Stanton are a big reason for this.

Joe Honeycutt and Mary Anne Noon will make good additions to the school board. Both have excellent professional experience as business people. Noon will improve the communications of the board and Honeycutt will also provide as a representative from Ambler.

Above all, get informed about the candidates and go vote on November 5.
