TODAY we are asking you to take a small amount of time out of your busy schedule to contact the Montgomery County Commissioners about the proposed ELMINATION to Library Funding.(If you need more information about proposals, possible options, visit this story here.)

Why? Montgomery County-Norristown Library provides the swift delivery service you have come to expect from us. They also provide the largest collection of materials to MCLINC (serves 94% of the county and which WVPL is a member of) at one-half million items including DVDs and books. Services at Montgomery County-Norristown Library, including programs, reference, Internet, BookMobile and materials, will be gone. These are at risk.

Do you have books delivered to WVPL from other libraries? Then contact the Montgomery County Commissioners TODAY.

When contacting the Montgomery County Commissioners, be sure to tell them how you enjoy the convenience of picking up materials from other libraries at your local library. Talk about specific experiences. Ask that they keep level funding for libraries.
