Car Stuck In Stairwell After Crash Into U. Gwynedd Nursing Home
First responders had an unusual rescue situation at an Upper Gwynedd nursing home this weekend.

UPPER GWYNEDD, PA — A bizarre scene unfolded at a nursing home in Upper Gwynedd over the weekend after a vehicle crashed into a building and wound up in an unusual position.
The incident occurred Saturday at the Britanny Pointe Estates home on 1001 Valley Forge Road.
As a result of the crash, the car somehow managed to wedge itself in an outdoor stairwell, balanced on part of its front bumper and sticking at an angle up into the air.

The driver was stuck inside the vehicle as it stood in that position, authorities said, and first responders had to come in to the rescue.
The driver was brought out safely on to solid ground by Upper Gwynedd Police.

The vehicle was ultimately dislodged by Janeway Towing.
Upper Gwynedd Fire Company's Squad 80 also responded to the scene.
