Casino Night Fundraiser to Benefit Wissahickon School District

The second annual Monte Carlo Magic, hosted by the Wissahickon Educational Opportunities Foundation (WEOF), will be held on March 3 from 7 to 11 p.m. at .

“Last year’s event was so popular, we are again hosting a fundraiser with casino-style games, fine food and refreshments. Purchase a ticket to attend this fun night out and, at the same time, support our students in the school district,” says WEOF Co-President Susan Brereton.

WEOF is a non-profit organization that raises money to fund projects that are not otherwise in the Wissahickon School District budget. Proceeds support programs and projects such as a concert grand piano, digital cameras for art classes, iPods for reading fluency, visiting author programs, peer tutoring, performing arts assemblies and more.

According to Superintendent of Schools Judith M. Clark, “WEOF’s support of cultural and supplemental educational programs is greatly appreciated by the staff and students of the District.”
