Clara DeCurtis, 83, of Douglassville, formerly of Conshohocken

Clara DeCurtis was born in Rome, Italy and was a loving homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with her family, and traveling with her husband.

Clara DeCurtis, 83, of Douglassville, formerly of Conshohocken, died on April 26, 2012 at Spruce Manor Nursing and Rehab. Center in West Reading.

She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio DeCurtis.

She was born in Rome, Italy on August 28, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Armanda (Rosatelli) D'Agapiti.

She attended school in Italy and was employed as a Seamstress at Foreman's in Norristown, PA.

She also worked at the Conshohocken Italian Bakery for over 10 years.

Clara was a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church and was a loving homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with her family, and traveling with her husband.

She is survived by 8 children: Lucy Aungust of Auburn, Gina Sissick of Collegeville, Nicoletta Ohler of Lansdale, Diana Boccella of Bluffton, SC, Teresa Kelly of Conshohocken, Sandra Volpe of Douglassville, Adam DeCurtis of Collegeville, Antonio DeCurtis, Jr. of Conshohocken, 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild to be expected.
