David S. Miller, 57, of Blue Bell

Planning Commission member Dave Miller died suddenly yesterday. Mr. Miller was a very active member of the community. The Township mourns his passing and offers condolences to his family.

David S. Miller, 57 of Blue Bell, PA died suddenly on Sunday, June 24, 2012 in East Norriton, PA. A loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother, David owned his own web hosting and business planning company.

He is survived by his wife Norene (Rogers) Miller, children Catherine Miller and Joseph Miller, his sister Laura (Miller) Mann and her husband Marc Mann, and brother Michael Miller and his wife Donna Kalvarsky. David was born in Fairview Village, PA and is the son to Mitchell W. Miller and Shirley (Gahuse) Miller.

He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree. He founded WRO (Whitpain Residents.Org), was on the Whitpain Planning Commission and an active member of the Tiferet Bet Israel Synagogue in Blue Bell. David loved his family above all but he enjoyed skiing, swimming in the pool at his home, going to sporting events with his family and taking them to the shore. He loved news, learning and a veracious reader, and playing Wii with his children.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home of East Norriton, PA, 200 West Germantown Pike, (610-277-7000). The family will be receiving friends and relatives at the funeral home from 10-11 AM.
