Earlier End of School Year for Wissahickon Students

Wissahickon School District moves last day of school for students to June 11.

The announced on April 9 that the last day of school for students has been changed to Monday, June 11 with an early dismissal for and students at 9:45 a.m. and kindergarten through fifth grade students will dismiss at 10:30 a.m.

The change is due to mild winter the region experienced. According to the school district website, the district only lost one day of school due to inclement weather and two were built into the calendar.

High School students will also be dismissed at 11 a.m. on June 7 and 8 after their final exams and middle school students will be dismissed at 11 a.m. on June 8 after their final exams.

Parents who have questions regarding the end of the year dismissal procedures are to contact their student’s school.
