Ernst Brothers adds VP for Business Development

Teri D'Alonzo brings 3 decades sales & marketing experience to niche custom construction firm's leadership team.

Ernst Brothers Designers & Builders, a custom construction, renovation and restoration firm, welcomes Teri D’Alonzo as vice president for business development, taking advantage of her career expertise in sales and marketing as well as her passion for design and home renovation.

“We are fortunate to have found a person to fill this new position who combines extensive marketing capabilities with the same excitement for exceptional design, quality craftsmanship and achieving the client’s vision that all of us at Ernst share,” says Jake Taylor, principal at Ernst Brothers. “She has a designer’s eye for the potential of a project and is already demonstrating her abilities and inspiring the other members of our leadership team.”

Ms. D’Alonzo is responsible for interfacing with potential industry partners, including developers, designers, realtors and architects, and with individual clients to showcase Ernst Brothers’ craftsmanship, integrity and attention to detail.

A nurse by training, Ms. D’Alonzo worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) before moving into sales. Excelling in sales, marketing and sales leadership in the pharmaceutical and medical device arena, she was directly involved in multi-billion dollar product launches and earned several prestigious sales and marketing awards throughout her 30-year career.

At the same time, she indulged her passion for design, rehab and construction by successfully completing several home renovation projects for herself and others on the Main Line, in Philadelphia and Connecticut. Earlier this year and prior to connecting with Ernst Brothers, Ms. D’Alonzo left her medical device career to focus on designing and renovating full time with her own company—a second career that led in a roundabout way to her role on Ernst’s leadership team.
