First Presbyterian Church of Ambler will host a Biblical Seminary Course: Christianity and World Religions, Thursdays beginning April 7 through May 19, from 7 to 8:45 p.m.
Taught by Dr. Derek Cooper, historical theology and Biblical studies teacher at Biblical Seminary in Hatfield, the course will discuss the most influential religions of the world. It concentrates on decisive events, movements, texts and persons within these religions including Buddhism, Jainism, Taoism and Confucianism, Judaism, Islam, the Latter-Day Saints, Jehova's Witness and Christan responses to other religions.
