Maple Sugaring Program

Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association will host the anual Maple Sugaring Program, March 3, with tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Learn how maple syrup and sugar are made, from tapping trees, to boiling into sugar.

Choose a specific time as guides take small groups through the woods. End your walk at WVWA's historic headquarters for hot chocolate and warm treats with maple syrup.

Park in Ambler and look for signage. Walk over Butler Avenue Bridge, and turn left onto Green Ribbon Trail.

This program is ideal for families, Scout groups and anyone curious about the maple-sugar process.
