Montgomery County Community College's Music department will offer a summer jazz performance workshop for the first time, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning May 18 through June 29.
The workshop, led by Philadelphia area performer and recording artist Robin Haffley, is open to all wind instrument players (trumpet, sax, flute, trombone), guitar and bass players, keyboard players and drummers. Participants should bring their own instruments (drum set and keyboard will be provided). Jazz experience is not necessary, but players should be able to read music.
The course is listed as MUS 160 and registration information is available online.
