Friends of the Wissahickon Trail Ambassadors will present a free lecture series at Cedars House in Wissahickon Valley Park. The 45-minute presentations will cover a variety of topics related to the Wissahickon.

On Feb. 19 at 2 p.m., Trail Ambassador Sarah West will explore the Wissahickon Creek from its origin near Montgomery Mall, to its outlet at the Schuylkill River, and discuss the important environmental issues stewards of the creek are addressing, such as stormwater management.

Programs are suitable for everyone 10 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Lectures may be canceled in the event of hazardous weather conditions. No reservations are necessary.
