Evangelou Receives The National Assocation Of Realtors® Green Designation
Johanna Evangelou, a sales associate affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Preferred office in Blue Bell, has been awarded the Green Designation by the National Association of REALTORS®. The designation is the only green real estate designation recognized by NAR.
Evangelou earned the prestigious designation after completing 18 hours of course work. The course provides sales associates with comprehensive knowledge on green homes, buildings, and issues of sustainability in relation to real estate.
As a part of the course, Evangelou learned what qualifies as a green property, how to help clients evaluate the cost/benefit of green building features and practices, and how to distinguish between industry rating and classification systems. In addition, she now has extensive knowledge in listing and marketing green homes and buildings, insight on the financial grants and incentives available to homeowners, and can easily help consumers see a property’s green potential.
