For the Person Who Has Everything: Act II Gift Certificates

Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount, but the theater recommends $66, the price for two of the highest priced weekend tickets.

As part of , Ambler Patch is highlighting some of the unique stores in downtown Ambler. Be sure to shop small on Nov. 26, as American Express and Ambler Main Street celebrate Small Business Saturday.

While the box office will be closed on Small Business Saturday, gift certificates for the local playhouse make a great holiday gift for the tough to shop for people on your list.

The Ambler playhouse has two upcoming shows, “Laughing All the Way,” a variety talk show for kids featuring a night of skits, comedy, music and entertainment.

The show opens in mid-December, but runs through Dec. 31.

“Let’s Pretend We’re Married” opens January 11 and runs for two weeks. The show has been produced by 1812 Productions in Center City Philadelphia and are bringing it to Ambler for the new year.

Each night during the show, a couple will be chosen to have their vows renewed by an ordained minister on stage.

Howie Brown, the Managing Director of Act II Playhouse, said they recommend people purchase gift certificates for $66, which is the cost for two of the highest priced tickets for a weekend show. However, certificates can be bought in any amount.

Gift certificates can be purchased at the box office or over the phone.
