Former Temple University President Peter Liacouras Dies: Report

Temple News confirms that former university president Peter Liacouras has passed away.

The former president of Temple University, Peter Liacouras, has died at 85, the school's newspaper, Temple News, said.

He passed away peacefully on Thursday night, his son Greg told Temple News.

Liacouras had served as president from 1982 to 2000 and was dean of Temple's easley School of Law from 1972 to 1982.
