Group to Offer Speed Dating-Style Q&As on Real Estate

The Diversified Real Estate Investor Group is pairing members with experts in a variety of fields relevant to real estate investors.

You have probably heard of speed dating, but what about speed networking? The Diversified Real Estate Investor Group (DIG) has modified the concept of this timed matchmaking exercise to pair its members with experts in a variety of fields relevant to real estate investors.

During its July 27 meeting, DIG members and guests will sit down and ask questions of local professionals in three to five minute increments.

“When the bell rings, you have to get up and move to another table,” DIG Executive Director Stephanie Pappas said of the format. “It gives you the opportunity to ask those questions that you may feel ‘I don’t want to ask in front of a room of people.’”

Attendees will be able to rub elbows with others interested in real estate investment while having their questions answered in a wide array of topics, including land lording, negotiating, renovations and real estate flips, public adjusting, basement waterproofing, tax issues, property management, seller financing, wholesaling, home staging, legal questions and more.

Pappas will host the event and be on hand to answer questions about DIG and its member benefits.

“We’ve done it every July for the last couple years,” she said. “People like it. We actually have people who plan their vacation around it.”
