House Fire Battled In Lower Gwynedd

LOWER GWYNEDD, PA — Firefighters battled a blaze at a home in Lower Gwynedd amdist boiling hot conditions Wednesday afternoon.

With temperatures soaring into the mid-90s, crews responded to the scene of a home on the 300 block of Welsh Road, near Tennis Avenue.

The incident was first reported at around 2:28 p.m.

Wissahickon Fire Company was joined by other local units on the scene.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
