A Lansdale man has been sentenced to prison after an incident in which he allegedly slammed her head into the concrete, according to a story in The Reporter.
Mark Steven Williams, 24, of West Fifth Street, pleaded guilty on October 29 and was sentenced to eight to 23 months in county jail, according to the report.
On June 7, police responded to a 911 call to North Canon Avenue, the report states. Williams’ girlfriend told police they were arguing and he grabbed her by the neck and slammed her head against the concrete floor, the report states.

Williams also allegedly hit her while she was holding an infant, and she reportedly said she feared for the baby’s safety.
