Lena R. D'Annunzio, 88, of Conshohocken

Lena R. D'Annunzio, 88, of Conshohocken, died on June 22, 2012 at Montgomery Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. D'Annunzio.

She was born in Conshohocken, PA on May 10, 1924 to the late Nicola and Mary (Gulli) Bertino.

Lena attended Conshohocken High School and later worked as a Seamstress for Suskind's.

She was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them.

She also enjoyed vacationing at the shore with her family, and in her later years, trips to the casino and watching game shows. She was a member of SS. Cosmas and Damian Church.

Lena is survived by 3 sons Joseph A. D'Annunzio of Conshohocken, Thomas N. D'Annunzio and Judy of Wichita, KS, Nicholas C. D'Annunzio and Marybelle of Worcetser, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by all her siblings Cosmo, Anthony, Nicholas Bertino, Frances Mallozzi, Mary Keenan.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 10 AM at SS. Cosmas and Damian Church, 209 W. 5th Ave., Conshohocken, PA. The viewing will be from 9-10 AM at Church. Interment in St. Matthew Cemetery.
