Election results from Ambler, Lower Gwynedd, and Whitpain as well as Wissahickon School District.
With about 20 percent voter turnout overall in the Wissahickon area, enthusiasm at the polls didn’t dwindle during the day.
While the Lower Gwynedd Supervisor, Whitpain Supervisor and Ambler Borough Council races were uncontested for each candidate, the Wissahickon School Board race for the five open seats was a contested race amongst eight candidates and two candidates on the ballot for the two-year term on the board.
