Lower Gwynedd Couple Recognized for Work as Foster Parents

Residents from around the county were recognized by the Montgomery County Commissioners for their work as foster parents in acknowledgement of Foster Care Month.

Jan Lineberger, of Lower Gwynedd, and her partner Ann Lisa Kochenberger have been foster parents since 2010 and have cared for seven children ranging in age from infant to teens. They have been an excellent resource for after hours and emergencies and have a sense of humor which has helped them deal with the many issues teens bring to a family.

They are currently caring for a 1 ½ year old.

They helped one teen transition to college. They have also been a resource to other new foster parents as a support and sounding board.
