Lower Gwynedd Elem. Earns Top 20 Nationwide In 'First In Math'
Lower Gwynedd scored in the top 20 out of thousands of schools in the "First in Math" online program.

LOWER GWYNEDD, PA — Lower Gwynedd Elementary scored in the top 20 out of thousands of schools nationwide in the "First in Math" online program.
The program requires students to earn stickers for completing certain math problems, both at home and at school.
Students between 1st and 5th grades earned more than a million stickers.

"Our students have been working really hard to earn as many stickers as possible at home and in school," Wissahickon spokesperson Kristen Rawlings said. "This great learning tool supports our goal to increase math fluency and help our students apply their math facts. It also makes learning math fun."
The school and Principal Matthew Walsh received a letter from the president of Suntex and inventor of the First in Math program, Robert Sun, congratuating students on their achievement.
