Miriam Irwin, 81, of Ann's Choice in Warminster

Miriam Irwin was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler where she was a Eucharistic Minister for many years.

Irwin, Miriam, 81, of Ann's Choice in Warminster, and formerly of Lower Gwynedd, PA and Ocean City, NJ; died on May 20, 2012 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Mrs. Irwin was the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Miriam (nee Morton) Welsh. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Foell in 2000.

Miriam was a graduate of Little Flower High School Class of 1948, and a member of their Sorority. She was also a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler where she was a Eucharistic Minister for many years.

She is survived by her beloved husband Harold E. Irwin and her devoted children Deborah M. Sheehan of Ambler, Barbara A Sheehan of Woodbridge, VA, Susan F. Martosella and her husband Joseph of Ambler, Nancy King of Holland, PA, James Irwin and his wife Teresa of Oaklyn, NJ, and son-in-law Thomas Foell. She was the loving grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 3.

Relatives and friends are invited to call 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, and on Thursday, 9:30 to 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 259 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA 19002. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated with Msgr. Stephen P. McHenry at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
