Montco Man Had 65 Photos, 78 Videos Of Child Porn: DA

NORTH WALES, PA — A North Wales man has been arrested after hundreds of videos and images containing child porn were found on his computer, authorities said.

Scott Neff, 42, of North Wales, faces more than 100 felony counts of distributing and possessing child porn.

An online investigation began back in Oct. 2018, when detectives located a computer specially designed to anonymously share files with others.

Police were able to trace the computer to Neff's residence in North Wales, where they executed a search warrant.

Neff spoke to police, and admitted possessing the child porn and using it to masturbate, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Authorities ordered that Neff have no unsupervised contact with children and no Internet access.

Neff was unable to post $100,000 bail and he was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is set for March 27.
