Montco Man Killed After Getting Trapped Under Lawn Tractor

HATFIELD, PA — A Hatfield man died after getting trapped under a lawn tractor in front of his home on Thursday, authorities said.

The incident occurred at about 4:35 p.m. on the 1400 block of Orvilla Road.

The victim, a 61-year-old man, was found by first responders lying partially beneath the tractor, police said. It's not yet clear what led to the accident.

The man was rushed to Abington-Lansdale Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said that the incident remains under investigation.

Hatfield Township Police were assisted by the Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale on the scene.
