Montco Mother, Who Injected Teen Daughter With Heroin, Denied Leniency

LOWER SALFORD, PA - A Lower Salford woman’s request for a reduced sentence after she allegedly injected her teenage daughter with heroin has been denied, according to reports.

Patricia Sue Davenport, 37, had been sentenced to five to 10 years in prison for her actions in December, a ruling that will stand, according to the Delaware County Times.

Montgomery County Judge William R. Carpenter reportedly did not elaborate on his reasons for the denial, although he did say at an earlier date that Davenport’s actions represented one of the worst crimes he’d seen in two decades as a judge.

Davenport pleaded guilty for the crimes, which occurred over a six month period in 2014.

Along with the help of her friend, Megan Michelle Rudolph, 27, of North Wales (who later testified against Davenport), Davenport acquired heroin in Philadelphia and injected her 15-year-old daughter and her 16-year-old boyfriend several times a week for months.

The pair bought the drugs on Seventh and Russel Streets, according to the report, and teens would often accompany the women on the trips.
