Montco SAAC to host Intergenerational LGBTQ+ Dinner

Ambler nonprofit to take part in nationwide evening of connection.

The Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County is hosting its first SAGE Table on Thursday, November 8th. SAGE, Services and Advocacy for LGBTQ+ Elders, is encouraging members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies of all ages across the country to share a meal as well as intergenerational connection on this day. SAGE is promoting a coming together of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies across the country in the form of intimate, intergenerational dinners, as a moment of connection and as time to lay the groundwork for positive change in our community. Through community building that begins at SAGE Table, we also aim to tackle the problem of loneliness faced by so many in the LGBTQ+ community, especially our elders. Learn more about SAGE and their nationwide effort here.

In a continued effort to make Montco SAAC senior centers, Meals on Wheels programs, and art center completely inclusive and welcoming, as well as Montgomery County as a whole, we will be hosting our SAGE Table at Forest & Main (55 N. Main St, Ambler PA 19002) from 6:30-8. A light dinner will be provided by Weavers Way. Check out our event page here.
